Seth Terkper Confident in NDC’s Ability to Transform Ghana if Re-elected

Former Finance Minister Seth Terkper has voiced strong support for John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), asserting that the party has the potential to bring substantial change to Ghana within the next four years, provided they secure victory in the December 7 elections.

In a press briefing in Accra on August 27, Terkper underscored the NDC’s previous achievements in office, arguing that their track record demonstrates their capability to advance the country’s development.

He expressed confidence in Mahama’s leadership, suggesting that his experience and vision are crucial to steering Ghana towards progress.

Terkper defended the NDC’s past fiscal performance, challenging criticisms that have been levelled against their economic management.

He emphasized the accuracy of their fiscal records, referencing the corrections made by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) regarding previously disputed deficit figures.

Terkper contended that the NDC’s manifesto is grounded in their proven performance and achievements during their previous term in office.
