I’ve not prophesied NDC’s 2028 victory – Prophet Apai Life

Leader of the Great Life Worship Centre, Prophet Asamoah Boateng, popularly known as Apai Life, has dismissed prophetic declarations predicting a victory for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2028 general elections, describing such prophecies as not divinely inspired.

Speaking in an interview on Angel FM in Kumasi, the cleric argued that Ghana’s political outcomes should not be reduced to prophetic pronouncements, insisting that electoral victories are driven by performance rather than spiritual predictions.

According to Prophet Boateng, if the NDC were to win the 2028 elections, it would be as a result of policy decisions and governance outcomes, not prophecy.

“It is the good works of President Mahama that can make him win the 2028 elections, not prophecies,” he stated.

He cited recent economic indicators, including reductions in fuel prices, the cost of petroleum products, building materials such as iron rods, and inflation, as factors that could influence voter behaviour.

“Fuel prices have reduced, prices of oil and other products like iron rods have also gone down, and inflation has reduced. These are the things that can influence elections,” he said.

The prophet criticised fellow pastors who publicly issue political prophecies, accusing them of making assumptions based on observable trends rather than divine revelation.

“Any pastor who is prophesying about this is lying. They are not speaking from God; they are only making predictions based on what they are seeing,” he claimed.

Prophet Asamoah Boateng urged religious leaders to exercise caution in making political declarations, warning that such pronouncements could mislead the public and undermine the credibility of the church.
