According to the Ministry, the move is intended to deepen national cultural awareness and strengthen Ghana’s identity on the global stage.
“This initiative is meant to affirm our identity and project Ghana’s heritage with pride to the world,” the statement added.
The Ministry also noted that the policy is expected to bring economic benefits by supporting local weavers, designers, artisans, and traders.
