Ghana’s top referee, Daniel Laryea, has been chosen to referee the big match between Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak at Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The country’s two biggest clubs are set to lock horns in the Ghana Premier League to fight for the bragging rights.
Laryea will be helped by Paul Atimaka and Seth Abletor in what should be a very intense game. He is known for staying calm and making quick decisions. He has handled many big matches before.
The Porcupine Warriors, after 21 matches, are just one point behind Hearts, making the match even more exciting.
Hearts of Oak are fourth with 36 points. They go to Kumasi hoping to keep their place and put on a strong show away from home.
