NPP General, Justin Frimpong Kodua has released fresh information regarding the conduct of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Officers’ Elections.
“National Officers’ Elections Committee shall, in consultation with the National Executive Committee, prepare detailed guidelines for the conduct of the National Officers’ Elections,” Kodua stated.
“A detailed guideline will be presented in due course.”
He emphasized a strict code of conduct for all aspirants.
“All aspirants shall campaign on issues, refraining from levelling unsubstantiated allegations, personal attacks, and vilifications against their opponents.
“No aspirant shall undertake an activity that will polarise the party along tribal, religious, and other lines,” Kodua said.
He added that aspirants must also ensure their supporters adhere to the same standards, promoting respectful and issue-based campaigns throughout the election period.
