The Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme (NEIP) holds the view that farmers who picketed the premises of Cocobod, demanding their due, were bused by the New Patriotic Party.
On Friday, February 20, 2026, several cocoa farmers from the Western North Region picketed at the office of Cocobod, demanding to meet the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Randy Abbey.
As of 10 pm, these old farmers were still at the premises of the company demanding that they meet the CEO for an assurance that their monies will be paid in full.
Reacting to this in a post shared via social media, Eric Adjei holds the view that the farmers were bused to execute a New Patriotic Party agenda fueled by Dennis Miracles Aboagye.
His post read “Ahhhh, but now my good friend, the communication aspirant, can bus farmers from the Western Region to Accra and compensate them to protest about the cocoa price? Awww, he is resourceful indeed. Vote DMA”.
He used the opportunity to plead with cocoa farmers to bear with the government over measures being taken to ensure that the sector comes out of the crisis they have been engulfed with.
“To the farmers, we are still sorry for the inconvenience caused by the world market,” he pleaded.
