A member of the Greater Accra Regional Communications Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Stephen Sedem Deegbe, has bitterly complained about the treatment meted out to them.
According to him, regional communicators have been sidelined in the scheme of affairs since the party came to power.
To him, just like the New Patriotic Party (NPP) created portfolios for their communicators to enjoy, there is a need for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to replicate that to ensure they also “eat.”
“Greater Accra regional communicators take less than Ghc 700 a month. Everyone is fighting for themselves, so I will not blame Akogan but rather the one occupying a big position at GoldBod.
He has secured positions for some people, including Godwin Mahama who is a spokesperson for TOR. Eric Adjei and others have been given positions. I don’t have a problem, but they should not leave out regional communicators. If it were NPP, they would have created positions for us,” he said on Accra-based Hot FM.
