Global Info Analytics has predicted a landslide win for Baba Jamal in the Ayawaso East by-election on March 3, 2026.
The polls say Baba Jamal will win the seat with about 71% of the votes to be cast on the said day.
Closely following Baba Jamal is the New Patriotic Party’s Baba Ali Yousif, after which Umar Sanda, the man who has been suspended from the NDC for contesting, garnered 2.7% in the polls.
Two other candidates in the contest, Ibrahim Iddrisu and David Kanor, are pegged at 0.4% and 0.2%, respectively.
The Ayawaso East By-election became imperative after the sudden demise of the Member of Parliament.
