Nana Agradaa, the former traditional priestess turned evangelist, has visited her church following her release from prison.
In a video available us, she appeared pale and could barely walk, but that did not stop her church members from surrounding her, shouting praises and giving thanks to God for her safe return.
Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, had served nine months of a one-year sentence under Ghana’s standard remission regulations.
She was originally sentenced to 15 years in prison for defrauding by false pretence and making charlatanic advertisements, but her term was reduced to one year, with the remission scheme allowing for a one-third reduction for good behaviour while in custody.
