The National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yamin, has confirmed he will seek another term in office after the Ayawaso East by-election.
Speaking to MyNewsGh at a voting centre, Yamin made his intentions clear when asked about his political future.
“Yes, I’ve made that indication,” he said.
“I’m going to ask delegates to give me the nod to continue as National Organiser for another term.”
But Yamin insists the final decision lies with party delegates.
“Now it will rest on the delegates,” he said. “If they see my work as something they appreciate, I’m sure they are going to give me the nod.”
He ended the speculation plainly: “So I’m staying back as National Organiser.”
