Ghana will travel to the last zone of the World Cup— Kofi Adams

Ghana’s sports minister, Kofi Adams, is optimistic Ghana will go very far in the upcoming World Cup.

According to him, this year’s performance by the stars will ensure that they stay in the tournament for a long time; hence, the decision to budget for the final.

He was speaking in an interview with The Constituent Seat when he made this known.

“This World Cup, we are staying till the last zone; we are not going and leaving halfway,” he said.

On being critical about the budget of the Black Stars, the Minister indicated that media men must seek clarification rather than churn out misinformation.

“Let’s seek clarification where we don’t get clarification. If you don’t understand, maybe some allocations have been done for them; find out why these allocations. What does it mean? Does it mean when this amount is allocated for the team, they are spending all that money, no matter where they get to…

When you look at the amount budgeted for the team in terms of its participation in this year’s World Cup in Canada, USA and Mexico, and you look at the ultimate price that is available, it may be considered as very insignificant at the end of the day if they win the ultimate,” he said.
