Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, popularly known as Counsellor Lutterodt, has been granted Ghc50,000 bail by the Adenta Circuit Court after being charged with inciting youth to storm the home of the late highlife musician Daddy Lumba.
The arrest followed a viral Facebook video in which Lutterodt allegedly urged Ga youth in Accra to enter the musician’s residence with pickaxes to locate his body.
Police said a second video later appeared showing some youth gathering outside the house.
Police said investigations suggest the remarks made in the video were offensive and capable of causing a breach of the peace, particularly as they allegedly encouraged some youth to storm the residence of the late musician.
Lutterodt pleaded not guilty to the single count of offensive conduct likely to breach the peace.
