Two leading contenders in the race to become the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman, Boakye Agyarko and Paul Afoko met at Agona Jamasi in the Ashanti region.
The two were at Agona Jamasi for the funeral the mother of Kwadwo Mpianim former Chief of Staff under Kufuor.
While the occasion was primarily to mourn and honour the late matriarch, the convergence of influential figures in the NPP at Agona-Jamasi afforded them the opportunity to have discussions about the party.
Family, friends, and well-wishers paid their final respects to the deceased, celebrating her life and legacy while offering support to Kojo Mpianim and his family during the period of bereavement.
