The Ministry of Education has launched a nationwide campaign against drug abuse in schools, introducing a daily anti-drug message for all pre-tertiary students.
Under a directive from Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu, students will recite the message during morning assembly after the National Anthem and before the National Pledge
The ministry said the campaign, being implemented with the Ministry of the Interior and the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), forms part of efforts to discourage drug abuse and promote responsible decision-making among learners.
