Professor Christian Agyare has assumed office as the 13th KNUST Vice-Chancellor following successful investiture.
Prof. Christian Agyare’s investiture was well attended by staff of the school, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Ghana’s Chief of Staff, Dr Julius Debrah.
Other dignitaries included the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene.
Before he was appointed Vice-Chancellor, he was the Provost of the College of Health Sciences, KNUST’s largest and most complex academic college.
Professor Agyare has published more than 200 peer-reviewed research papers and has earned over 5,000 citations, with an H-index of 36 and an i10-index of 84.
