Chief Executive Officer for GoldBod, Sammy Gyamfi, has acknowledged that some of his statements during this week’s press conference were harsh.
However, he will use the same words again because that is the best way to deal with disinformation and smear campaigns.
He believes that Alexander Afenyo-Markin’s campaign against him and the institution he heads is not in any quest for accountability but rather for his personal gains.
The GoldBod CEO intends to crush Afenyo-Markin if he continues on the tangent he is currently on.
“The feedback that some of the comparisons and the wording were strong is duly understood and taken in good faith.
But that is how you crush malicious smear campaigns. Somebody wants to for three months: Sammy Gyamfi, Sammy Gyamf, GoldBod, GoldBod. You don’t give such a person a peg on the cheek and a hug. What he is doing is not borne out of any quest for accountability; it is personal,” he said.
