Ghana’s Black Asteroids have come a long way. Now, their journey leads to Casablanca.
For weeks, the team battled opponents online. There were no packed stadiums, roaring fans or television cameras. Instead, the players relied on concentration, communication, tactical discipline and quick decisions.
Now, their hard work has earned them a place at the inaugural FIFAe Continental Championship Africa featuring eFootball™ Console.
The tournament will take place in Casablanca, Morocco, from August 27 to 29, 2026, with the eFootball Console competition scheduled for August 28.
But Ghana’s qualification was not easy.
The Black Asteroids had to compete across several qualifying weeks in the FIFAe Nations League and collect enough Consistency Points to secure a place among Africa’s best teams.
