Ashanti Rsgional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah has given a strong indication that the party under him will streamline their communications.
According to him, unlike previously when show hosts could call on anyone claiming to be an NPP communicator to speak to issues, the party will now have to sanction people before they appear on political shows.
He is of the view that putting in place a system to check who communicates for the party will help bring back the love the party has lost at the grassroots level in the region.
”We want to work with the media and so they need to understand us. Every communicator who appears for any show must have the blessing of the Communications Director. We will not accept it when show hosts just pick any person who says he/she is NPP and they come there to insult the party.
We are aware of the strength of everyone and so we know who we would want to speak to which issue so the media must understand this and work with us,” he said while addressing party communicators.
