Socialite Efia Odo says her decision not to be critical of the NDC government is that she has grown over the years.
Efia Odo was one of the fiercest critics of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
She joined demonstrations to register her displeasure with the governance style of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
However, she has currently gone silent after Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government left office.
Responding to tweeps on her decision to stay silent on issues bothering politics in Ghana
She says she has learnt from experiences in the past and will not be used as a pawn in political battles.
Her Tweet read “Because I’ve grown. I’ve realized that constantly attacking politicians publicly doesn’t always create the change I want to see. With age comes maturity, and my approach has evolved. I no longer want to be used as a pawn in political battles or feel like I have to attack one party to prove I’m holding leaders accountable”.
