Afoko Promises Total Discipline in NPP

New Patriotic Party (NPP )National Chairman hopeful Awentami Paul Afoko has pledged to introduce what he describes as total discipline within the party if elected, saying internal insults and attacks have no place in a political organisation he considers a family

Speaking with Lawyer Osei Bonsu on Asempa FM’s Late Afternoon Show, Eko Si Sen, Afoko said his leadership would focus on restoring discipline as a means of strengthening unity within the NPP.

“I will bring total discipline to the NPP when I win the National Chairmanship position. The politics of insults will have no place in the NPP,” he stated.

According to Afoko, members of the NPP should stop fighting and undermining one another because they belong to the same political family.

“We are all members of the same party and the same family, so let us not fight one another,” he said.

Afoko said his personal qualities of discipline, patience, and emotional restraint make him suited to lead the party through its current challenges.

“The party knows I am disciplined and patient and do not act on emotions,” he stated.

He maintained that his commitment to discipline would not be about punishment, but about creating the order and unity needed to rebuild the NPP and position it to regain political power.
