A Nigerian woman has rejected her boyfriend’s decision to end their five-year relationship, insisting that she cannot simply move on after investing years in the relationship.
The woman questioned how her partner could end the relationship after previously promising to marry her.
“You waste 5 years of my life you dey tell me make I move on. If I move on make I know wetin cause am. I no fit move on,” she said.
She insisted that she had given the relationship five years of her life and was not prepared to accept that it was over.
“You think you can just wake up one morning and tell me it is over, you don’t want relationship again. You and who dey do that one? I cannot o,” she stated.
According to the woman, marriage was part of the promise made to her when the relationship began.
“No be wetin you promise me be that, you promise me marriage and we must marry,” she added.
