Ciara is adding another child to her family with Russell Wilson, with the couple announcing that they are expecting their first baby since their three children together were born.
The Grammy-winning singer and former NFL quarterback shared the news jointly on Instagram, posting photos and videos of Ciara showing her baby bump. In one of the photos, the couple held up five fingers, signalling that they are expecting their fifth child.
Their announcement was simply captioned, “One more person to Love.”
The couple also used four shirts hanging on a clothesline to represent their current children, alongside a blank baby onesie for the new addition.
Ciara and Wilson are already parents to daughters Sienna Princess and Amora Princess, and son Win Harrison. Ciara also has a son, Future Zahir, from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
The new baby will therefore be Ciara’s fifth child and her fourth with Wilson, whom she married in 2016.
Ciara has previously spoken about bringing her children into her life on the road while continuing her music career. In a 2024 interview with PEOPLE, she said travelling with them during her tour was something she valued.
“My kids travelled with me, and I couldn’t have done it any other way,” she said.
“It was the most amazing time with my babies. I was like, ‘This is what life is about.’ So, the little joys in life. I’m so grateful,” she added.
The pregnancy announcement also comes months after Wilson, 37, announced his retirement from professional football in June following a 14-season career as an NFL quarterback.
