A Nigerian woman identified as Ameerah has faced backlash on X after expressing interest in becoming the second wife of a married man, Rayyan Tilde.
Ameerah’s proposal came after Tilde went viral for surprising his wife with a luxurious backyard renovation featuring a home gym, an outdoor kitchen and a tennis court.
Impressed by the man’s dedication to his family, Ameerah tagged him in a post on X and expressed her willingness to become his second wife whenever he was ready to marry again.
Describing herself as a woman of faith, values and purpose, she said she would be honoured to become his life partner and hoped to get to know him better.
“Assalam @RayTilde, I hope this message meets you well. I admire d dedication & care you show your family. When you’re ready to add a second wife, I would be honored to be ur life partner. Am a woman of faith, values, & purpose, and I’d love the chance to get to know you properly,” she wrote.
Her post attracted criticism from X users, with several calling her out over her decision to approach a married man publicly.
