Government’s spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has expressed concerns over the lack of discipline in Ghana.
He says the indiscipline in the country should not be countenanced if the country and its people want to develop.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, who was speaking on recent pushbacks to decisions made by government to seek the betterment of the Ghanaian people.
The minister cited pushbacks AMA and KMA have faced in recent times when they tried to clear the roads of hawkers, among other initiatives that the government was asked to put a human face to, although the government intended the good of the country.
He indicated that Ghanaians continue to compare the country to other developed worlds but will always not support activities to improve the country.
“In this our country, nobody wants to be disciplined. I am of the firm view that when you put a government in place, the government must work, but the moment the government gets into a tussle with a private entity, we have people defending the private entity and pushing back the needed reforms that the state is pushing,” he said on Accra-based TV3.
