Television personality Nana Aba Anamoah has indicated that she has never experienced sex in exchange for a job in her lifetime.
To her, every job she has had in her life has been based on her competence in her field.
However, she seems to get questions like that from other women who mostly want ways to navigate such demands from men in high places.
Against this backdrop, she indicated that she started the Women of Valour platform to be able to provide other women access to ask questions and get knowledgeable answers from people who may have lived through these experiences in order to help them navigate such situations.
“A lot of the time, women who are looking for jobs tend to be asked to exchange sex for the job. Since I started working, no man has asked that I exchange sex for a job.
So when it happens to another woman and she comes to me for advice, I struggle to give advice; the advice I may give will be pedestrian because I’ve not lived it. So questions like those led me to create a platform where women can come together as a unit because what women have to do is to collaborate,” she said.
