The Special Prosecutor’s Office has indicated that Ken Ofori Atta has provided them with a specific date for his return.
This is a shift from his former decision to stay indefinitely out of the jurisdiction to seek medical attention.
Ken Ofori-Atta was previously put on the OSP’s list of wanted people for not availing himself for an investigation.
The OSP, as a result, has scheduled a day for him to appear before the office.
However, if he fails to return to the country and meet the OSP as scheduled, he will be dragged back to the list of wanted people.
He is being investigated for his role in several corruption-related issues, including his role in the National Cathedral and SML, among others.
