The countdown to Ghana’s biggest football match has begun after the Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirmed the dates for the two Super Clash games between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the 2026/27 Premier League season.
The first Super Clash will be played on Matchday 13 during the weekend of December 4 to 7, 2026, with Asante Kotoko hosting Hearts of Oak.
The second meeting will take place on Matchday 30, between April 30 and May 3, 2027, when Hearts of Oak host Asante Kotoko. The match could play an important role in the race for the league title.
Both clubs are expected to challenge for the Premier League title again this season, making the two Super Clash matches even more important.
Before the first meeting in December, both teams have difficult fixtures to play.
Kotoko will begin the season away to newly promoted Debibi United. They will then host Heart of Lions, travel to FC Samartex 1996, return home to face Aduana FC, and then host Karela United.
Hearts of Oak will start at home against Berekum Chelsea before travelling to Bibiani Gold Stars. They will then host Bechem United before away matches against Karela United and Dreams FC.
