The final screening exercise for Ghana’s National U-15 Boys Team will take place from August 16 to 22, 2026, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
The exercise forms part of preparations for the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival, scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan in October 2026.
A total of 51 young players have been selected for the final stage of the talent identification process after initially being part of a group of 108 players who reported for screening on July 17.
To allow the technical team to assess each player thoroughly, the 51 players have been divided into two groups of 26 and 25.
The first group will report to camp on Sunday, August 16, and stay until Wednesday, August 19. The second group will arrive on Wednesday, August 19, and remain in camp until Saturday, August 22.
Head coach Salifu Fatawu and his technical team will assess the players based on their technical ability, tactical understanding, physical qualities, discipline and overall potential.
The screening represents an important step in Ghana’s preparations for the historic U-15 World Cup and Festival, where the country will look to showcase some of its most promising young football talents.
