Dr Clement Apaak, Deputy Minister of Education, says he and his ‘boss’, Haruna Iddrisu (Minister for Education), are not at loggerheads, contrary to media reports.
The clarification follows a video on the With All Due Respect programme, where Kelvin Taylor suggested internal challenges within the Ministry.
In a statement issued Friday, January 30, 2026, Dr. Apaak said, “I fully dissociate myself from the claims made in that video. The views expressed do not reflect my experiences or sentiments.”
He added, “I have never raised any grievances regarding my role or responsibilities. Minister Iddrisu has consistently fostered a collaborative and inclusive working environment.”
The statement also highlighted Dr. Apaak’s ongoing involvement in key Ministry functions.
“I continue to play an active role, frequently representing the Ministry at high-level meetings and decision-making forums,” it read.
The Office of the Deputy Minister urged the public to disregard the video. “These claims are speculative and not reflective of the professional synergy driving our work at the Ministry,” the statement said.
