It’s about their future – Adom-Otchere reacts to NDC press conference

Paul Adom-Otchere has suggested that Fiifi Kwetey’s reform announcements should be understood as part of long-term political positioning rather than short-term governance messaging.

On Good Evening Ghana, he argued that the statements carry a deeper meaning for the future direction of power within the NDC. “I’m going to tell you the meaning of what he said,” Adom-Otchere stated.

“I’ve been talking to people who listen carefully to political signals, and when 2026 comes, this is what Fiifi and the party are going to do.”

He framed the press conference as an early signal of internal realignments. “They are doing things in favor of certain people, against certain people, supporting some positions and weakening others,” he said.

According to Adom-Otchere, these are not accidental outcomes but deliberate political calculations.

“This is not random communication. It’s structured. It’s planned. It’s positioning,” he added.

Rather than treating the announcements as administrative reforms, he described them as political architecture. “This is how power is shaped long before elections arrive. What you see today becomes the structure of tomorrow,” he said.
