NPP primaries: Haruna Mohammed reacts to prophets siding with candidates

Amid claims of bad-mouthed prophecies targeting the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Deputy General Secretary Haruna Mohammed emphasised that men of God are free to prophesy, but their words are ultimately subject to divine confirmation.

“Men of God are allowed to do the work that they want to do. And when they speak, it is up to God to confirm whatever they say,” Mohammed stated.

He dismissed concerns that such prophecies could destabilize the party, instead urging focus on collective responsibility.

“The General Secretary has indicated that no individual can win the election alone. It has to take the collective responsibility of all of us,” he explained.

Mohammed referenced the NPP’s track record, noting that the party has emerged stronger after internal disagreements and past elections.
