If NDC is giving him money, he should be careful – Omane Acheampong clashes with Captain Smart

Veteran gospel musician Nicholas Omane Acheampong has cautioned media personality Captain Smart to be careful in his public statements, especially if motivated by political funding.

“If the NDC is giving him money to say whatever he is saying, he should be very careful because he doesn’t know what the future holds,” Acheampong said.

He further called on Captain Smart to apologise to Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah for remarks he made on Onua TV.

“I am repeating that Captain Smart should go and apologise to Apostle Onyinah for the statements he made against him,” the musician said.

Acheampong criticized Captain Smart for airing allegations without evidence.

“Is Captain Smart an attorney general? So why are you disgracing people based on hearsay? I have a lot of reports about Captain Smart, but I won’t say them,” he added.

He also emphasized that political affiliations do not justify public attacks.

“Captain Smart, why don’t you discuss your family issues on the radio? The fact that he supports the NDC doesn’t give him the chance to sit on air and insult prominent people,” Acheampong said.

Finally, Acheampong reminded the public that Apostle Onyinah has not been found guilty by any court, and that making claims without proof is unfair.

“He doesn’t have any facts to support what he is saying. The court hasn’t declared him guilty, so why would he sit on Onua and disgrace him?”
