A Nigerian man has been left devastated after the death of his wife, despite donating a kidney to save her.
The man, known on X (formerly Twitter) as @musco-grins, shared his grief with his followers.
“Jesus… she didn’t survive. She took my kidney with her,” he wrote, describing the heartbreaking loss.
He also thanked everyone for their support during this difficult period: “I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me on this app.
“I’ll be deactivating my account for now. I’m currently in the hospital to donate my kidney to my woman because she is sick.”
Social media users quickly offered condolences and words of comfort as the story drew widespread attention.
