FIFA has confirmed the refereeing team for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup group-stage match between Iraq and Norway, with a strong African presence selected to officiate the fixture.
Leading the officiating team will be Pierre Atcho of Gabon, who has been appointed as the centre referee.
He will be assisted by fellow Gabonese officials Boris Ditsoga and Amos Abeigne Ndong, forming a trio that has worked together extensively in African club and international football.
FIFA has also included two experienced Egyptian officials in the match crew. Amin Mohamed Omar will serve as the fourth official, overseeing the technical areas and substitution procedures, while Mahmoud Abouelregal has been named reserve assistant referee.
