Thank you for the support and prayers – Baba Rahman to Ghanaians

Ghana player Abdul Baba Rahman says the Black Stars will give their best in the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America to make Ghanaians proud.

Baba Rahman spoke before the tournament and thanked fans for their support.

“We thank Ghanaians for the support and prayers. We are going to fight to make Ghanaians proud at the tournament,” he told AshesGyamera.

The tournament started on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Ghana will begin their journey on June 17 against Panama in what is expected to be an important Group L match.

This will be Ghana’s fifth time playing at the World Cup after they qualified for the expanded tournament hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

After playing Panama, Ghana will face strong teams England and Croatia, who were runners-up in 2018.
