Mussa Dankwah, Executive Director of Global Info Analytics, has stated that recent polling suggests President John Dramani Mahama would win if the 2024 election were held again today.
Sharing findings from a poll, Dankwah said Mahama would secure 63.3 percent of the vote, while Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would receive 34.4 percent. Other candidates would account for 2.3 percent.
“Will NPP win a re-run of the 2024 elections if the elections were held today? Not according to the polls,” he stated.
According to Dankwah, the figures indicate that Mahama’s support remains close to his 2024 election performance.
He also pointed to the poll’s findings on presidential approval ratings.
“For those who think the 71% approval rating is a joke, this is an internal consistent data showing JDM will do better than in 2024,” he said.
Dankwah added that the findings reflect the results captured by the survey.
“The data is the data,” he stated
