According to a report by Beach FM, flooding in Samreboi in the Amenfi West Municipality of the Western Region has led to the reported deaths of two persons following heavy rainfall.
Community members say the deceased are a 17-year-old and a child aged one year and six months.
The Samre River overflowed after the rainfall, affecting parts of the community and entering residential areas.
Several homes were impacted, with residents reporting displacement and difficulty retrieving personal belongings.
The situation followed continued rainfall that led to rising water levels in the area.
