GFA president Kurt Okraku believes matches between Ghana and England are always special, and he remains confident ahead of their meeting at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, even though he admits it is difficult to predict the result.
Although England are seen as favourites, the GFA president is staying positive before the game.
“I’m not thinking too much about the game against England,” he told 3Sports.
“For me, Ghana against England is a derby like Ghana v Nigeria or Hearts of Oak v Kotoko. I’m positive about the outcome.”
The Black Stars of Ghana will face the Three Lions on Tuesday in Boston.
Both teams started the tournament with victories. England beat Croatia 4-2 in Dallas, while Ghana secured a 1-0 win over Panama in Toronto.
