NDC is a useless government – Miracles Aboagye fumes

Former Presidential staffer Dennis Miracles Aboagye has questioned the scale and prioritisation of infrastructure projects being undertaken under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.

In a social media post, Aboagye compared comments attributed to the government on the feasibility of building 111 hospitals at once with its ongoing plan to construct 261 modern markets across all districts.

“This useless NDC government says it doesn’t make sense to build 111 hospitals at once, but yeah, they are building 261 Markets at once… Read it again!!!!” he wrote.

The NDC government is currently implementing its 24-Hour Economy policy, which includes the construction of multipurpose 24-hour model markets in all 261 districts.

The initiative, being coordinated by the Ministry of Local Government, is designed to support continuous commercial activity and includes facilities such as security units, daycare centres, and primary healthcare spaces within selected market structures.

The policy forms part of broader efforts to expand local economic activity through infrastructure development across the country.
