She’s not in any private residence – Muntaka addresses Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu claims

Interior Minister Muntaka Mubarak has dismissed claims that former MASLOC CEO Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu is being held in a private residence or receiving special treatment.

“From the day she came, she has been with us, and she’s with us, and she’s serving her term,” he said on JoyNews.

His comments follow calls from the Minority for government to disclose the prison facility where Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu is serving her sentence after her return to Ghana.

Responding to the demands, Muntaka said authorities are not required to publicly reveal the location of high-profile inmates for security reasons.

“Trust us, she’s serving her term. She’s not in any private residence. She is with us,” he stated.

The minister added that a person convicted and sentenced by a court would naturally be under the care of the Ghana Prisons Service.
