Veteran music producer, Fred Kyei Mensah has shared details of his earlier life experiences on Facebook.
He outlined different jobs he engaged in before establishing his current career in music production and media.
In a post titled “Changing Scenes of Life,” he traced his journey back to his school days, noting that he sold iced water in Coca-Cola bottles at the Anloga Carpentry enclave in Kumasi between 1975 and 1977 while in primary school.
He added that during his secondary school vacations in Agogo, Asante Akyem, he sold items such as “Apino” and “Don’t touch me Soap.”
Fredyma further stated that after completing Sixth Form education, he sold second-hand shoes at Kantamanto, an experience he said became familiar to people from the Asante Akyem area, particularly Agogo.
He also noted that he later worked with Shell as a fuel station manager during his national service period after Sixth Form.
According to him, he later attempted to join Ghana Airways as a cabin crew member, with the aim of becoming a pilot.
Fredyma said his current work involves music production, writing, and media engagement.
“Now, I am a music producer extraordinaire, a prolific writer, a radio & TV pundit and an inspiration to many,” he wrote.
He ended his post by inviting others to share their own experiences, asking, “What did you pass through before your current state? Let’s share to motivate others.”
