Croatian football coach Zdravko Logarušić believes the Black Stars can beat Colombia in their upcoming Round of 32 match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The former King Faisal FC and Asante Kotoko coach said Ghana have the quality to defeat Colombia after qualifying as one of the best third-placed teams.
Logarušić said the Black Stars are physically strong and have enough quality to compete with any team in the world.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanasportspage, the Croatian coach said if Ghana fail to beat Colombia, it would mean they are not strong enough for the tournament.
He also praised the experience of Ghana’s technical team.
“Let’s make it simple without emotions. Ghana can play against any team in the world because they are good physically and have speed and stamina for any opponent. No team in the world can easily say, they will beat Ghana… Ghana has a strong team.”
“The Ghanaian national team now has some experienced coaches and good quality players on the pitch to overcome any opponent. If they can not overcome Colombia and Switzerland, then they’re not strong enough because they’re not teams that Ghana should be scared.”
