Five years after relocating to the United Kingdom, media personality and former host of the defunct Gold Blast on TV3, Blakofe, has revealed why she left Ghana.

“Five years later. Happy in London versus desperate to get out of Ghana,” he wrote.
According to her, one of the main reasons she appreciates living in London is being in an environment where he believes honesty and cleanliness are valued.
“I just want to be with people who value honesty and cleanliness.”
Blakofe also spoke about what he described as the lack of progress in a serious criminal case involving him, saying she believes her commitment to integrity has worked against him.
“To have a serious case of crime ignored because I have integrity is sh*t,” she wrote.
“Ghana will never work when the message is honesty is a vice and fraud, lying, scamming and being corrupt is what gets you support, she added.
Blakofe further claimed that if he had been known for criminal activity or other controversial conduct, his case would have attracted quicker attention from authorities and the public.
“If I was a known ashawo, slay queen, fraudster, internet romance scammer or corrupt person, by now all authorities would have arrested the guy who committed the serious crime against me. Lawyers would be desperate to defend me. Bloggers would share my story.”
He concluded by saying he feels isolated because he has chosen to live with integrity.
