The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to hold a one-day virtual seminar on safety and security for Ghana Premier League clubs ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The seminar will take place between August 26 and 28, 2026, and will provide clubs with practical guidance on implementing the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols and meeting Premier League regulations.
The virtual session will focus on the responsibilities of club management and designated Safety and Security Officers in making sure matches are safe, secure and well organised.
Participants will also discuss ways to improve coordination and preparation before, during and after matches. Key areas will include risk prevention, crowd management and effective matchday operations.
Another important part of the seminar will be educating and engaging fans, coaches, players and staff on the official Code of Conduct.
The GFA will encourage clubs to promote responsible behaviour and ensure that everyone involved in matchdays follows the required safety and security measures.
The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to begin between September 4 and 7, 2026, and will end between May 28 and 31, 2027.
