Private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu has said Ghana’s economy has generally stabilised under the new NDC government spearheaded by the Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, although the cost of living and transport fares remain high.
“Generally, our economy has stabilised under Ato Forson, but the cost of living is still high, and transport fares are also very high,” he said on Keypoints on TV3.
On the same platform, Hamza Suhuyini, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communications team, has expressed confidence that the governing party will win the next election based on its record in government.
Suhuyini argued that the NDC’s performance over the past two years was better than that of the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
“The NPP’s eight-year record can never be compared to what the NDC has achieved over the past two years,” he said.
