The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale North and Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, Alhaji Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini, has assured the newly elected constituency executives that he will work with them to secure a resounding NDC victory in the 2028 general elections.
“We will work together as a party so that, in the 2028 general elections, the party’s presidential candidate and the MP will win by a bigger margin than we did in 2024,” he said.
Mr Suhuyini commended all the aspirants who contested for various positions and urged them to remain committed to the party.
“I want all the aspirants to know that, after the elections, it is the NDC that has won, not any individual. They should not be discouraged but should remain committed to the party,” he said.
He expressed confidence that the newly elected executives would perform their roles effectively.
“Many of the elected executives campaigned for us in 2020 and 2024. This shows that the delegates have confidence in them, which is why they voted for them to continue their good work,” he said.
