Ghanaian disc jockey DJ KA says the leak of an intimate video involving him helped him better understand who genuinely cares about him.
Speaking on Angel FM, Kumasi, DJ KA reflected on the experience, saying difficult moments often reveal the difference between genuine friends and people who only appear supportive.
“There is a saying that it is when something happens to you that is when you see your enemies and loved ones,” he said.
According to DJ KA, however, his experience with the leaked intimate video did not expose as many enemies as he expected. Instead, he said the incident made him realise that he had more people who genuinely cared about him.
“But when this incident of a leaked intimate video tape happened, I saw that I have more loved ones than enemies,” he said.
DJ KA said the support he received during the difficult period helped him identify the people who stood by him when he was vulnerable.
