Former President Nana Akufo-Addo has expressed his full confidence in Dr Mahamudu Bawumia following the latter’s victory in the New Patriotic Party’s presidential primaries.
Dr Bawumia, accompanied by his wife, Samira Bawumia, paid a courtesy call on the former president after the primaries on January 31.
Addressing supporters and party members, Akufo-Addo praised Bawumia’s dedication and commitment.
“I know his mind, his character, his love for Ghana, and his appetite for hard work,” Akufo-Addo said.
“He is loyal to party and country. With the full support of our rank and file and the continued generosity of our supporters, I know that he will lead us back to victory.”
Akufo-Addo also highlighted the importance of collaboration and support among party members in ensuring success.
