Asante Kotoko are in talks to sign Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi when his current contract ends.
According to a source close to Kotoko, they have started discussions with the Ghana international as they look to strengthen their goalkeeping department before the new season.
The source added that there is growing confidence that the transfer could happen if both sides agree on the final details.
Agbasi’s contract with Hearts of Oak is close to ending, making him one of the available goalkeepers on the market.
Agbasi is currently with the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he is serving as Ghana’s standby goalkeeper as the team prepares for its Round of 32 match against Colombia.
Talks are still ongoing, and no agreement has been reached yet.
