Former Member of Parliament for the Bekwai Constituency, Joe Osei Owusu, holds the view that Johnson Asiedu Nketia deserves credit for the attractiveness of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to him, the Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) is firm on party matters, and that has made the NDC very attractive.
He was speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen when he made this known.
To him, while the New Patriotic Party plays ostrich with party issues and has constant rants from party members, the NDC is able to manage its internal affairs internally and Asiedu Nketia makes sure of that.
“I did party work at an early stage, and I get worried with the rate at which members of the NPP have moved to join the NDC. I get worried, but who I believe is behind this is Asiedu Nketia. He is very firm on party matters.
He doesn’t have to say it, but you can see the consistency. If you don’t want to follow party lines, you’ll be dealt with. When we are playing ostrich with issues in the NDC, they will deal with you.
